About SBS Public School
SBS Public School is an English Medium co-educational and C.B.S.E. affiliated school. It is run by a trust consisting of educationists, philanthropists and eminent personalities.
This school is named after father of S. Avtar Singh Sidhu ,Naib Risaldar Shaheed Babu Singh Ji.
He was born in village Abhepur (Teh- Kharar) on 1st April, 1928. He joined Indian Army in 1949 in armoured corps. He served for 22 yrs and achieved martyrdom in Indo Pak War of 1971 in Chhamb-Jaurian Sector on 6 Dec 1971. For his braveries he was awarded the Sena Medal, Sainya Sewa Medal, Raksha Medal and many more gallantry awards by the Indian Army.

- The aim of opening this school was to provide quality education and to cater to the needs of the rural students. The school is determined to prepare students according to the rapidly changing society.
- It also aims at developing mental and physical development of each child. The school intends to set optimism in its students so that they learn & acquire the positive traits of life as how to learn, anywhere, anytime thus enriching their skills continuously.
